Opportunity for Students Experienced with FEA

Hello,

We are a satellite design team here at UF currently working on developing our next CubeSat, SwampSat II. The mission of SwampSat II focuses on expanding large antenna opportunities to small satellites. We are looking for engineers who are comfortable with thermal and/or stress analysis and have practiced these skills outside of the classroom (i.e. in a lab or internship). Our specific requirement is to perform a comprehensive analysis on the effects of the space environment on a large deployed antenna structure. We have an aggressive project schedule and therefore require a student with prior experience in modeling to complete the task expeditiously. Do not hesitate if you are interested in the opportunity and have experience modeling but are new to the space environment. We will work closely with you to bring you onboard and extend your resume into the exciting realm of space. If are interested in joining our team or have any questions please contact us via email at: ralent@ufl.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!

 Go Gators!
